These rates are applicable during your stay three days prior and three days after the meeting, if rooms are available.

All rates are subject to applicable taxes, currently 14.4%. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel toll free at 800.633.7313 and telling the reservation office that you are an EMS meeting participant, or by reserving a room online.

Persons with special needs should inform the hotel of their needs when making reservations. Wheelchair accessible rooms are available.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Internet Access at the Annual Meeting

EMS appreciates how important it is for attendees to stay connected to daily responsibilities in their home locations while attending the meeting. EMS meeting attendees will have access to the EMS Internet Café during registration hours. There is also complimentary internet in Tully’s café, located in the lobby.

The Hyatt Regency Bellevue offers a tiered price structure and multi-day offers for guest room wired or wireless internet:

Standard or ‘High Speed Lite’ is $9.99 with a 3Mbps per-user cap
Premium or ‘High Speed Enhanced’ is $12.99 with a 10Mbps per-user cap

You can utilize your guest room connection code in the main lobby for no additional charge, however please note that this service is not available in the meeting rooms or the meeting room foyers.

Room Sharing Program

In an effort to reduce the cost of the 2012 EMS meeting, EMS provides a room sharing program. If you are interested in sharing room costs, please complete the Room Sharing Program Form. Please note that this is only a matching service. Matched roommates are responsible for making their own hotel reservations! The deadline to sign up for this service is July 18.

Participation in this program does not guarantee the EMS hotel room rate, students must make their hotel reservations early to secure the discounted rate. EMS will not be responsible for securing housing for participants in the Room Sharing Program.

EMS will handle communication between people wishing to participate in the room sharing program. Please note that it is the responsibility of each participant in the program to make their room reservation, communicate with and to work out an agreement with the person who will share the room. The role of EMS is strictly limited to the maintenance of the list of registrants who have signified an interest in the program. The Society will maintain the list but does not (a) screen participants, (b) make any determination as to the appropriateness of any resulting room share, or (c) guarantee a resulting room share.
