Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
The meetings of the Society SIGs are a time-tested favorite of the Annual Meetings. The format provides free-form discussions and short presentations of the key challenges and research. The SIGs provide a casual way for young investigators and seasoned researchers to interact. The SIGs also play a major role in identifying the scientific topics for symposia and workshops during the next Annual Meeting, which will be held in Montreal, Quebec in October 2011. For more information about the Special Interest Groups, visit the EMS Web site. If you are interested in attending, please check the appropriate box when you register. Each breakfast meeting is $15; the WEMS lunch is $25. All SIG meetings are open to all registrants.
