FASEB Shared Research Resources Report and Roundtable Registration Information

FASEB Shared Research Resources Report and Roundtable Registration Information

Thursday, June 17, 1:00 – 4:00 pm (ET)

As part of the Roundtable event, participants will hear from the FASEB SRR Task Force members who have worked over the last several months to identify barriers and opportunities for policy change to enhance the shared resources enterprise. Attached, please find the Task Force’s final report, “Maximizing Shared Research Resources – Part III: Addressing Systemic Challenges and Opportunities” which can also be accessed on the FASEB website. This report builds upon FASEB’s previous efforts to promote SRRs, including the 2017 report. The latest 2021 report is divided into the following sections:

  • Section I: Regional, Institutional, and National Strategies
  • Section II: Role of Stakeholders and Funding Agencies
  • Section III: Institutional Responsibilities and Strategies for Advancement of SRRs
  • Section IV: Strategies for SRRs

During the June 17th Roundtable, we’d like to exchange feedback about the Task Force’s recommendations outlined in the attached report and listen to other perspectives on the development of policies, strategies, and best practices necessary to sustain our nation’s critical shared resources.

Please remember to register for this event using the Zoom Registration Link below. Registration is required to participate. Following registration, you will receive both a calendar invite and corresponding Zoom link to join the meeting the day of the event.
