ICEM is rescheduled to 2022 and EMGS will host a virtual Annual Meeting in 2021

Dear EMGS members,

I hope that you are safe and well. I am writing to provide you with an update on the status of the upcoming ICEM and annual EMGS meeting scheduled for August 28 to September 2, 2021 in Ottawa, Canada. After extensive consultations we have determined that an in-person meeting in Ottawa at this time will not be possible given the pandemic. Rather than holding this large international meeting virtually, the ICEM Program Committee, the EMGS Executive Board and Council, and the IAEMGS have unanimously agreed to postpone the meeting to August 27 to September 1, 2022. The site and venue will remain the same, i.e., the Westin Hotel and Conference Centre in Ottawa, Canada. To the extent possible, the program structure, including keynote speakers and symposium topics, will not change.

This change means that the 52nd annual EMGS meeting will be held virtually. This is in development and details will follow.
