Meet the 2020 Candidates!

The EMGS Nominating Committee has selected the candidates for this year’s election.  This year we will be choosing a Vice President-Elect and five Councilors.  Each candidate has agreed to volunteer their time and energy to serve both the Society and its members.  Please take a moment of your time to Meet the Candidates.

Visit the candidate profiles within EMGS site during the next few months. Take time to get to know them better before it is time to vote in October 2020.  Introduce yourself to them online.  And when you do meet them, thank them for stepping up to serve our Society. Putting your name out there to run for office is not easy and serving in office requires a lot of time and effort.  As your President I am thankful for the work of the Executive Board and Council, who we elected.

And remember, the best way to honor these members is to vote when the ballots arrive in October. Candidates will be submitting their biographical summaries which will be posted for further reference in August. Look for the electronic ballot for this year’s election to arrive on October 1, 2020.  I encourage you to participate in the election process.
