Thank you for registering for the Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society’s 51st Virtual Annual Meeting, set to commence Saturday, September 12 at 8AM CDT. The Virtual Annual Meeting Site — https://www.emgs2020conference.com/ — is now open and accessible to meeting registrants. This site is where you will access all of the meeting’s live and recorded content.

Please take the opportunity to log on and explore the Virtual Annual Meeting Site prior to Saturday’s kickoff. Once you log on, you will have access to an agenda for each day of the meeting. As scheduled presentations begin, you will have the option of clicking a “Join Here” button that will link you to a corresponding Zoom session.  Having trouble logging on? We hope you enjoy the next few days and get to know each other as we navigate our conference together and experience some great speakers who will share their work and knowledge.  You will meet folks representing over 30 countries with scientist from industry, government and academic institutions who all have a common value and share in the mission and vision of the EMGS.

The EMGS Vision

To promote critical scientific knowledge and research into the causes and consequences of damage to the genome and epigenome in order to inform and support national and international efforts to ensure a healthy, sustainable environment for future generations.

Mission of the EMGS

The EMGS mission is (1) to foster scientific research and education on the causes and mechanistic bases of DNA damage and repair, mutagenesis, heritable effects, epigenetic alterations in genome function, and their relevance to disease, and (2) to promote the application and communication of this knowledge to genetic toxicology testing, risk assessment, and regulatory policy-making to protect human health and the environment.
