The Young Scientist Award is an exciting opportunity for new investigators to showcase their talent to the EMGS community while communicating the importance of their research to the public using a fun crowdfunding video!
Congratulations to the following EMGS Members who have been elected to leadership for 2019.
In their December 2018 Editor's Choice article, "Using a gene expression biomarker to identify DNA damage‐inducing agents in microarray profiles, Corton et al. demonstrate the utility of the TGx-DDI biomarker to accurately classify DDI agents.
In their July 2018 Editor's Choice article, "Assessment of a panel of cellular biomarkers and the kinetics of their induction in comparing genotoxic modes of action in HepG2 cells," Kopp et al. report changes in a panel of phosphoprotein biomarkers induced by treatment with clastogens.
In their October 2018 Editor's Choice article, "Somatic Mutation Load and Spectra: A Record of DNA Damage and Repair in Healthy Human Cells" Saini and Gordenin summarize next generation sequencing data regarding the nature and magnitude of the mutational load in tissues of cancer-free individuals.
