FASEB Membership

Donations support the society's FASEB membership

The Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society is now part of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB). To help cover fees associated with FASEB membership, EMGS requests a one-time voluntary contribution in your annual dues payment. Outside of EMGS dues renewal, members can also support our FASEB membership with a donation that will be directed toward paying the society’s membership fees.

Make A Contribution

Membership in FASEB confers many benefits to EMGS members, especially the opportunity to have a voice in science policy at the highest levels. As a small society, EMGS must ally with others to advocate policies that promote environmental genomic health. Membership in FASEB can amplify our voices.

More About FASEB

Founded in 1912, FASEB was originally created by three independent scientific organizations to provide a forum in which to hold educational meetings, develop publications, and disseminate biological research results. What started as a small group of dedicated scientists has grown to be the nation’s largest coalition of biomedical researchers, representing 29 scientific societies and over 130,000 researchers from around the world. FASEB is now recognized as the policy voice of biological and biomedical researchers. FASEB focuses on policy issues important to and affecting biomedical researchers and their work. To support research efforts, our top priority is urging Congress to provide sustainable and predictable federal funding for scientific research. Check out the Science Policy and Advocacy web page (https://www.faseb.org/Science-Policy-and-Advocacy) to find out more. FASEB provides professional development opportunities and information for our undergraduate, postgraduate, postdoctoral, or seasoned scientists. It provides professional training webinars, lists of job/fellowship opportunities, and an online career planning tool.
