About this workshop: Communicating your research with confidence, clarity and authenticity is key for scientists at all career stages. Collaborators, grant-issuing authorities, recruiters and the general public always appreciate it. But how can you relate to varying audiences? How can you distill your findings down to a compelling pitch? In this highly interactive workshop, you will learn science communicatory best practices and co- creatively develop engaging narratives for your research, all while having a good time. All you need to do, is show up.

Trainers: Elena and Martin are seasoned applied improvisation and science-communication trainers. They have worked with organizations, such as the Barcelona Institute for Global Health, the Falling Walls Lab New York and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. They are the co-founders of Mighty Real.

Who is it for? This event is targeted at all scientists interested in learning how to communicate more effectively with their peers and community. Because of the interactive nature of the workshop, we will limit registration to 50 attendees.
