Women in EMGS (WEMGS) Luncheon: $30

We are happy to announce the prestigious Northwestern University researcher, Dr. Lifang Hou, has graciously agreed to speak at our upcoming luncheon! Not only is her body of work impressive, it is an absolute fit for the Society and should be of interest to many of our members, including the men (yes, you are encouraged to participate :))! The putative title for Dr. Hou's talk is "Epigenomic study of social-environmental exposure in relation to health outcomes and disparities."

Refund Policy

Requests for a cancellation refund must be submitted in writing and emailed to the EMGS headquarters. There is a $40 fee for cancellation of the Meeting Registration before August 15, 2023. No refunds will be issued after August 15, 2023. Registrants who do not cancel prior to August 15, 2023. and who do not attend, will not receive a refund.

Registrants unable to attend the conference may send an alternate. Requests for substitutions must be submitted in writing and emailed to the EMGS headquarters. A service fee of $40 will be charged for each substitution. Substitutions must be received by August 15, 2023. Participants will be responsible for the fee.

Registrants grant the EMGS permission to reproduce, copy, and publish photographs taken at the Annual Meeting unless written notification by the registrant, stating otherwise, is submitted to the EMGS office prior to the Annual Meeting or while registering on-site.


Free Day for Local Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Register for a Free 1 day admission

Local undergraduate or graduate students may attend free of charge for one day. Free admission will include all scientific sessions scheduled for the day. Applicants may sign up for the free Student and New Investigator Luncheon, Sunday, September 10th with this registration. This registration type does not include any other complimentary luncheons or evening events. Applications should be submitted by July 31st and must include a letter from the relevant Department Chair confirming the applicant’s status as a student in good standing. Eligible students will receive a coupon code to use during registration.

Please note that you are not eligible for the free day program if you are presenting an abstract during the Annual Meeting.

Please be prepared to show a student I.D. at the registration desk.
